Terry Irwin is Clinical Director of Gastrointestinal Medicine and Surgery and a consultant surgeon at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, Northern Ireland.

He has been a PowerPoint user for longer than he cares to remember and teaches extensively in the United Kingdom and Europe.

He has completed a Diploma in Medical Informatics at the Royal College of Surgeon's of Edinburgh. He learned how to use Photoshop from his daughter Sarah, who is now studying Mathematics at Queen's University, Belfast.

He has two other equally talented children.

Charlotte is studying for her "A" levels and will follow the family tradition in studying medicine.

Sam is studying Graphic Design - a chip of the old block (?) and is a talented musician (unlike his father).
