Links There are lots of great PowerPoint extras on the web, if you just go looking. A great starting point is the PowerPoint home page. You may also like to visit the Powerpointers site or Indezine.com for great tips and advice. Presenters University has some good resources too. The ultimate source for dealing with PowerPoint problems ahs got to be RDP Slides, where there is a great FAQ section. Our favourite magazine has to be Presentations. If you like ScreenBeans, try the ScreenBeans page. For really Flashy (sorry about the pun) graphs, try RChart Pro. We think that Vox Proxy is a bit over the top, but it will certainly impress your audience. There are lots of sources of images and animations, but be aware, they are not cheap! Digital Juice has lots of clip art and animations but is very expensive. Much better to get Julie to design the slides for you! Ablestock has over15,000 Royalty-free digital images for subscribers. Animation Factory provides access to 3,000 free animated GIF files. Members have access to huge collections of images and animations. PhotoSpin provides access to 30,000 royalty-free content files for subscribers. BizPresenter by Corbis offers high quality images at a low price for PowerPoint users. Only $7.95 US per low-res image, or 12 images in a Value Pack for a bit less.
Crystal Graphics offers a wide range of software and images to enhance a presentation. You may want to look at NXPower Lite which can compress a large presentation and optimize it. |
